We start 45-50 minutes before sunset and stop when we are out of light. Now if its cloudy, we may start an hour earlier. I'll be in touch with you the day before and the day of to make sure we are beating the weather.

I can also meet you at your condo or house if you are staying directly on the beach or walking distance!

When it gets super warm sometimes some members of our group get extra sweaty (cough cough- dads- cough cough) and they may benefit from a change or shirt or a towel to wipe those beads of sweat in our hotter months like June-September.

I take venmo, cashapp, paypal, check, and of course cash too!.

If you cancel before 1pm of our session date, you'll be refunded your deposit! This usually happens if there is higher than a 50% chance of rain all evening long, and your family doesn't want to risk it and cannot reschedule. 

No, I do not save RAW files. If you are looking for a photographer who will give you the RAW files you will definitely want to ask that before hand! 

My product that I sell: 75+ EDITED high resolution Jpeg images. 

The reason for this is so that my name is attached to my work, not yours. 

For example, I might take a photo that originally would not be up to par due to the nature of the outdoor photography, but I am able to make it better on photoshop.

If I give you the RAW photos now my name is on that product I sold. 

Like if I were to give you an unfrosted cake, some people sell those, but I finish my product and sell it as is. 

If you would like to do collaborative editing this is an important thing to communicate with your photographer about.

It is not industry standard to release RAW files and it is highly unlikely to find a professional who will.

If you want to make sure your hair is not blowing in your face, please wear your hair back with either a headband, clips, a hair tie, or braids. 

There is nothing I can do about wind since it is outdoor photography, it is usually not a problem but it can be for some hairstyles on nights that are extra windy.

Please understand that I try my very best with the wind as I care deeply for the end results of your photos, but the 'wind blown' beach look is a part of beach photography.

When the wind and weather is something to worry about, you can always decide to call it off. There is no point in trying to take photos in weather that you will be unhappy with. If we do go forward with our photo session despite it being windy or overcast, it is because I am under the assumption that you are okay with this. If you are not okay with the weather at the time, do cancel by 1pm to get your deposit back! That way, we can save the hard work for a better day! I want you to be happy with the memories we create together!

Pastels look good on everyone and match the pastel beach perfectly! I suggest looking at color theory for your skin tone to see what suited you as well!

what I have noticed is that because of the direct sunlight, coral and peach can make white people like myself look very pink… so it’s not a huge deal but it will bring out those pink hues in your skin if you wear pink.. especially with a slight sunburn…

wearing black is not recommended, especially if you are pale, as it will be harder for me to edit due to the highlights and shadows.

my favorite is a sage green, light blues, and pastel purple. Also you can never go wrong with white! 

I give them breaks! Sometimes with sunset sessions, they are tired and hungry. Make sure to eat before hand and have some snacks and a good bribe ready! I don’t get upset with kids for being kids. If they don’t want to do a pose, we try another one. If they don’t budge, we let them play or sit in the sand. I try my best with them, and I know all the words to baby shark, but I don’t force them to be uncomfortable for too long because that shows up in your photo. 

I didn’t smile in any of my photos until 3rd grade and now we all look back and laugh! 

If timing is an issue for your little ones with bed times, we can start earlier on a cloudy day that way everyone is happy and awake!
